Abstract
Titanium is a new type of material that possesses Advantages such as low density, high specific strength, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance. Its density is only half that of iron, yet its mechanical properties—such as impact resistance and formability—are comparable to those of copper. Generally, as temperature decreases, a metal’s impact toughness diminishes; however, titanium behaves exactly the opposite: the lower the temperature, the harder it becomes, and at a certain critical temperature, it exhibits superconductivity.
