Abstract
Asia Materials | The Power of Micropowder, Forging the Extraordinary

From September 20 to 21, the Sixth International Graduate Forum on Intelligent Welding and Additive Manufacturing was successfully held in Taiyuan, Shanxi. Centered on the theme of “Intelligent Welding and Additive Manufacturing,” the forum brought together leading experts and scholars, key researchers, and representatives from industry‑leading companies from around the world. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on technological innovation, industrial applications, and pathways for future sustainable development, fostering a vibrant atmosphere of on‑site exchange and drawing enthusiastic participation.

Yan Fei, Deputy General Manager of Asia New Materials (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Asia Materials”), was invited to attend the forum, where he delivered a presentation titled “From Powder to Performance: One-Stop Copper 3D Printing Empowering High-End Innovation.” He highlighted Asia Materials’ core technological advantages in copper alloy 3D printing, emphasizing the high purity, low oxygen content, and uniform particle size distribution of the company’s independently developed printing powders. Furthermore, drawing on the needs of high-end manufacturing sectors such as aerospace and electronic information, he explained how Asia Materials’ one-stop service—covering powder preparation, additive manufacturing, and post-processing—addresses industry pain points, supporting customers’ cutting-edge innovation projects with stable performance and customized solutions, thereby attracting widespread attention and active engagement from the audience.

As a key platform for fostering industry–university–research collaboration, this year’s forum focused on cutting-edge developments and core challenges in the fields of intelligent welding and additive manufacturing. Drawing on their research and practical experience, the participants shared insights across multiple dimensions—including materials development, equipment upgrades, and process optimization—offering recommendations to drive high-quality growth in the sector. Notably, presentations of technological breakthroughs and analyses of real-world application cases by leading companies emerged as a major highlight, providing a clear picture of the latest advances as these technologies transition from the laboratory to industrial implementation.

The enthusiastic response to the Taiyuan Forum has yet to fade, and Asia Materials is already gearing up to make its next appearance at another major industry event. This Friday, the company will travel to Jiangsu to attend the “2025 National Forum on Innovative Development of Nanometal Powder/Slurry Preparation and Applications,” continuing to deepen technical exchanges and foster collaborative partnerships in the field of metal powder materials. If you’re interested in the preparation technologies, application scenarios, and industry trends related to nanometal powders and slurries, please scan the QR code below to register for the event and visit Asia Materials’ booth No. 20. We look forward to connecting with more industry peers, exploring opportunities for material innovation, and driving the advancement of high-end manufacturing.
